EdgeMate Pool Chair Proper Use Guide

Welcome to the EdgeMate pool Chair community

It is now time to enjoy your EdgeMate.

Begin by placing your chair on a level pool deck and wall in shallow water.

PROPER PLACEMENT

Position your chair so the uprights on the main frame run parallel to the pool wall (as shown).

When positioned properly the chair will have contact with both the pool wall and pool deck.

VIEW FROM THE EDGE

Once your chair is in place, there will be space between the uprights and the pool wall.

You are overcorrecting the placement of the hang bar if the L-bracket is touching your pool edge/coping.

How to properly sit in your EdgeMate Pool Chair

Sitting in EdgeMate is no different than sitting in a conventional chair.

From inside the shallow end of a pool, a swimmer should sit down and into the back of the EdgeMate Pool Chair.
Like a conventional chair, sitting only on the front of the seat can cause the EdgeMate Pool Chair to tip forward from the pool deck.
If a swimmer has to step up on one foot (like they would a bar stool) to sit, they should position the chair in more shallow water.
